Purchasing our products and services on our website
By placing an order at www.askrubik.com you acknowledge to have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions as well as our Privacy Policy. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact us at hello@askrubik.com before placing your order with us.
We must receive payment for the full amount for our on demand service, Rubik Now, or any any physical goods that you order from us before your order can be accepted.
Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you have provided us.
Rubik Visit (our on-site service) will be invoiced following completion of work or when you request our technician to stop.
Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. All contracts are concluded in English.
Discount codes
Discount codes are only to be used by the intended recipient. Codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Rubik London retains the right to withdraw or extend offers and promotions at any time. Discounts cannot be added retrospectively to an order. The minimum specified order threshold is the value of the whole order before discount is applied.
Making changes to orders
Please note, due to the speed at which our team work and the preparation involved in our line of work, we can make no guarantees to change the details of a Rubik Visit or Rubik Now session. However if you require additional support from our technician, we will do our best to help wherever possible.
RUBIK VISIT
Rubik Visit cancellations
Once a booking has been made by you, the customer, it is a contract between you, the customer, and us at Rubik, that the appointment will be attended and thus paid for.
We understand that on occasion you will be required to re-arrange pre-booked appointments for any number of reasons and as long as this is communicated clearly to us 24 hours prior to your appointment no charge will occur. If, however, you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, a charge of £50 will apply.
In the case of a no show (failure to attend a pre-booked appointment) you agree to pay 100% of the appointment fee based on our original quotation (unless the appointment is rescheduled and paid in full and in advance – whereby a £25 fee will be charged).
Late cancellations and ‘no-shows’ disrupt the conscientious and prompt service we aspire to provide to all, we are very busy and there will always have been someone who could have slotted in to a missed appointment slot, which is why, as a courtesy to our other patrons and to staff, these charges exist. Sadly, no-shows and late cancellations cost our independent business money every time.
RUBIK NOW
Rubik Now cancellations
Once a booking has been made by you, the customer, it is a contract between you, the customer, and us at Rubik, that the appointment will be attended and thus paid for.
Rubik Now appointments require you to be at your compatible device pre-installed as per instruction on your confirmation email. You will also require a minimum internet connection of 1.5 mbps upload and 1.5 mbps download. We understand that on occasion you will be required to re-arrange pre-booked appointments for any number of reasons including technical limitations. Rubik Now appointments include one free rescheduling. Failure to connect during the agreed rescheduled appointment will conclude your Rubik Now session.
